Kanye West paid a visit to ‘The Breakfast Club’ last week and admitted to the trio that he had never heard Beck’s album before he ran up on stage and made the comments he did regarding Beck winning album of the year over Beyonce.
“I was completely hypocritical,” said ‘Ye. “I went to dinner and sat down with Taylor Swift, and ironically, they were playing the Beck album. I was listening like, ‘Man, this is kinda good. I ain’t even gonna lie.’”
Kanye went on to say that Beck may actually have deserved the Grammy and showed real remorse for the controversy he had caused. Well now the rap genius has issued a formal apology to Beck.
He took to Twitter (which is rare) late Thursday to issue an apology and also offer one to Bruno Mars, who we had no idea Ye had an issue with. Ye explained his gripe with Bruno and also revealed he would like to work with the ‘Gorilla’ performer on a new track which he has asked Tyler The Creator to shoot the video for.
