The utilitarian meets global nomad theme describes the Kenzo fall/winter 2015 show. Designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon sent a variety of layered looks down the runway that often seems singular in presentation. The starkness of the army green seemed to soften when mixed with color and digital prints.
When asked to explain the collection. the duo had this to say, ” we look towards individuality, survival, protection and the functional. We welcome the unknown with inimitable curiosity. We celebrate the signs of others and observe symbolism as communication through cult scribbles, care labels and unique prints. We are a community.”
