We’re sure the Beyhive will get a kick out of this story. According to reports Keri Hilson is having some financial issues and has been hit with a lien for failure to pay the mortgage on her Atlanta condo for several months.
The Jasmine Brand reports that Keri is accused of refusing to pay thousands of dollars in bills for her Georgia luxury condo, and now she has been served with a lien for nearly $5k.
The 32-year-old singer was hit with the lien on February 5th in Georgia court. The court document states that the Inman Green Condo Association is placing the lien against her ATL home due to her failing to pay a total of $4,880.82 in unpaid assessments and charges
The lien explains that they are also going after Keri for late fees, interest and their legal bill for having to take the singer to court over the debt she owes. Keri’s lien will continue to grow with interest until she has paid it in full.
It’s been quite a few years since Keri has had a hit but we would expect that she would be financially set due to her songwriting credits but we guess not. Anyway you can check out the court documents via TJB below.
