Lil’ Kim is responding to Eve‘s recent recollection of their one time short lived beef years ago. Hip Hop fans will remember that the two were not initially all that cool and even took subtle jabs at each other on various records around the early-mid 2000’s.

The topic came up this week during an episode of ‘The Talk‘ where Eve is the newest co-host, and the subject was “hating someone at first sight” and this is where Eve claims that it was Kim who initiated their issues.

“When I first started in the business, I had been a big big giant fan of Lil Kim. So, I would run up to her and be like, ‘Hey girl, I love you so much. I just got signed. Can you please be on my album?’”

“I don’t think that she hated me. I think that I was just so overexcited to see her.”

Of course as fans know, the two would later reconcile and have since become great friends. However, that didn’t stop Kim from responding with her side of things. The Queen Bee took to social media to dispute Eve’s claims but also kept it cute and light hearted.

Why do you girls always do this to me?Trying to make me out to be the bad guy?I don’t remember it that way at all?@TheRealEve is my girl that’s my baby y’all. We are not fighting. We are real friends. We can have this debate and still cuddle on the couch and watch a movie 2gether.. https://t.co/NYHWBstAv0

She also suggested she is willing to come on the show and talk about it with her pal.

We are glad the ladies have moved past their issues like grown women.
