Ciara and Russell Wilson are on the fast track to their wedding after becoming engaged less than two weeks ago, and now details about their prenup are being revealed. According to reports, they won’t have one!
“Russell and Ciara aren’t going to have a prenup,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Even the thought of speaking such words would mean that they’re questioning their love for one another. A prenup is like a jinx. They’re not going into the marriage thinking that it won’t last. They’re diving into this full on and they don’t want bad energy clouding their marriage.”
The NFL star asked Ciara to marry him on March 11 with a stunning engagement ring clocking in at a reported $2 million. According to reports, On July 31st, 2015, the Seattle Seahawks signed Wilson to a four-year contract extension valued at $87.6 million with a signing bonus of $31 million and $60 million of it guaranteed. So it’s safe to say that if the rumors are true, Russell isn’t hurting for money, hence him not pressing for a prenup.
It’s also safe to say that Ciara, who is in the studio working on her new album, the follow up to 2015’s Jackie, will never have to work again.
