It has been over six long years since Janet Jackson blessed her fans with her 10th studio album ‘Discipline’. Since then fans have been gasping at any news or confirmation that the legend would be releasing new material. It was reported that the singer had returned to the studio in 2o13 and many were hoping to hear talk of the project to be released, however the ever elusive performer kept details regarding the album and it’s progress under wraps.
Well now Jan’s longtime friend and producer Jimmy Jam has reignited a frenzy of anticipation after tweeting a message this week alluding that major news is coming our way.

Although no official details were revealed, it is very encouraging and exciting to know that any news and announcement is forthcoming. In a perfect world, Janet would release a new single in a matter of weeks followed by hopefully her best work to date, and command the attention of the masses as she successfully and effortlessly did for well over two decades. Exciting times ahead!
