Pharrell Williams has had an uber successful and busy 2014, his no. 1 hit ‘Happy’ became a global phenomenon, he dropped his second solo album ‘GIRL’, joined ‘The Voice’, released his unisex fragrance with COMMES de Garcon and collaborated with retail brands like Adidas, G-Star Raw, and the list goes on. So what could top this year? How about receiving a much coveted star on the legendary Walk of Fame.
According to reports from Variety, he will receive the 2,537th star on the Walk of Fame in front of the W Hollywood Hotel and Ellen DeGenres will be on hand to help present it. You can watch a live stream of the event on Dec. 4 starting at 11:30 a.m. PST on Walkoffame.com.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, made a statement about his induction. “We are so happy to pay tribute to Pharrell Williams, one of the nicest and most talented artists in show business,” she said. “His music is known the world over, and we are confident that fans will be ‘happy’ to see his star shine on our Walk of Fame.”
