We told you that word on the street was that Nene Leakes was OUT for season 7 of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’. Due to crazy contract demands and salary expectations out of this world it was reported by several outlets that she was let go by Bravo producers when contracts went out on last Friday and she did not receive one.
Now Ms. Leakes has added fuel to the fire with a tweet that almost confirms that she will not be returning, but in true Nene fashion she implies that it was on her own terms.
No word from Bravo as of yet but we are sure its coming. However others are speculating that Leakes was downgraded to ‘FOH’ (friend of Housewife status) although at this point whose friend would she be??
It is speculated that Bravo no longer feels NeNe Leakes is worth her salary and have demoted her from main character to reoccurring friend status.
Same for goes for Porsha Williams who sources claim also has not been offered a full contract and instead will show up from time to time as a friend of the cast.
