Its been quite some time since fans of ‘1 Thing’ singer Ameriie have heard some new music from the DC native. Back in 2012, the singer added an I to her name, changed her look around a little and got to work in the studio on her then tentatively titled album ‘Cymatika, Vol. 1′ but fans never saw the fruits of her labor.
Well today comes a teaser from Ameriie of an upbeat percussion heavy track called ‘What I Want’ which is reminiscent to the go-go tinged Ameriie sound fans are accustomed to.
No word on the single’s full release however the singer is scheduled to be performing in her hometown DC this weekend at Black Gay Pride, perhaps fans there will get an exclusive taste of the new material? Check out the new track below!
