Kim Kardashian is NOT here for gossip blog, Media Take Out, or any of its antics. Like most sites including mine, MTO has been covering the story and developments as it related to Kim’s recent Paris robbery where she was held at gunpoint.

MTO has been suggesting in there coverage, that Kim lied or exaggerated her story about the robbery for attention. Once Kim got word of this, she had absolutely no time for their games and officially filed a lawsuit against them earlier this week.

via TMZ:

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Kim says the site used random people off social media as its sources.

The site also posted a story about “French authorities” suspecting Kim had actually “let the robbers in” the apartment. The final indignity, according to the suit by her lawyers Marty Singer and Andrew Brettler, was a post about Kim’s insurance claim. She says MediaTakeOut reported, “If she faked the robbery … she just committed a FEDERAL CRIME.”

Kim says she immediately sicced her legal team on the site … demanding they retract the posts and apologize, but got no response. So now, she’ll see ’em in court.

MediaTakeOut had no comment.

Well now MTO has issued a public apology and retraction to their coverage of Kim. Get into their statement below.

We can understand how reports questioning if the robbery in fact took place can be hurtful, and so we apologize.

No one deserves to go through such a traumatic experience. Kim is not just celebrity, she is a person, a wife and a mother – who in no way deserved what happened to her.

We wish her the best as she emotionally recovers from the traumatic incident.

Good for Kim!
