Marvel and ‘Black Panther’ fans were in an uproar when it was announced a couple of weeks ago that Beyonce is in talks to become involved with the upcoming sequel, ‘Black Panther 2.’

Bey has reportedly inked a $100 million deal with Disney (who owns Marvel) for three major projects, one of those is ‘Black Panther 2’ which is set for a 2022 release.

While her role is said to focus primarily on the soundtrack (similarly to how she curated the soundtrack for ‘The Lion King’ live-action film)–it was speculated that she might also be in talks to have a role in the film as the beloved X-Men character Storm.

As comic historians are aware, Storm and Black Panther were married for a brief period of time in the comics and their union was historic and helped unite the X-Men and The Avengers together.

Well, fans who are not keen on Beyonce possibly being casts as Storm have thrown out a list of other potentials, including trans activist and ‘Pose‘ star Dominque Jackson.

Many took to social media suggesting that she be the one to take on the role of Storm, and a petition was even started to support their mission. Dominique took to Instagram to acknowledge the support and thank those who are advocating for her.
