With his upcoming partnership with Nike, it’s no surprise that Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci took that as inspiration for this sports-themed fall/winter 2014 collection. Set as an outside basketball court, the models paraded down the runway in jerseys, baggy trousers, sweaters with netting detail and jackets all with having a strong athletic aesthetic. Even down to the sneakers on their feet, the silhoutte was clean with a rounded toe. Could this be a sign of a new sneaker for the brand?
