We’ve told you that the underlining issue with Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore (at least according to Kenya) is that Nene is feeling threatened that her “spot” as the shows queen bee is in jeopardy. Rumors have been spreading like wildfire that Kenya is being groomed to be the new HBIC over at RHOA and Nene is not having it.
Whether there is truth to that or not has yet to be seen, but even if she doesn’t take Nene’s “spot” Kenya is definitely gunning for her paycheck! Nene made RHOA history when she became the highest paid housewife of any franchise, bringing in allegedly one million dollars per season. Now Kenya is looking for the same payout from Andy Cohen, and threatened if she doesn’t get it she won’t be returning.
We showed you HERE last week that Kenya revealed to OK! Magazine that she was debating whether she would return for next season or not when she stated:
If Bravo asked me to come back, I’d have to really think about it,” “Right at this moment, it’s a very tough question.”
“I don’t want you to take that the wrong way, because I’m nobody’s victim and never will be. But at some point you want people to put aside their differences and back you up because it’s the right thing to do,” she said.
Well after a fan tweeted Kenya asking again if she had made a decision, the ‘Gone With The Fabulous’ diva replied with a response that looks as though money will now be her deciding factor:
