This past weekend at DC’s For Sisters Only held at Washington Convention Center, Lil’ Mo took the stage to perform and wowed the crowd. Lil’ Mo also  revealed a secret that she referenced she wasn’t suppose to announce yet, but that her hit TV One series ‘R&B Divas: LA’  was indeed renewed for a season 2 after having a successful season one which dominated social media.

Today comes the official announcement from TV One, and additionally its predecessor ‘R&B Divas: Atlanta’ will be returning for a season 3. However, there have been some cast changes, as expected for the upcoming season. Sources are revealing that shows producers and founding members Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert will not be returning to the Atlanta franchise, additionally LaTocha Scott of XScape who joined the lineup last year is set to not return. That leaves Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone, Monifah Carter and Keke Wyatt however no names have been announced as their replacements, although we have heard mumblings of a few ladies in particular that are in the running.

For viewers of the highly rated series, it should come as no surprise that Faith is departing as she hardly appeared on the show during its first and second season run, and announced to the ladies mid season 2 that she would be moving from ATL to LA full time to handle family issues. Nicci also has been rumored to be leaving since the conclusion of season 1, as you would be hard pressed to find any who would rate her as the fan fave. No word on if their will be any lineup changes on the LA based franchise.
