This week VH1 unveiled the first teaser for the upcoming season of ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ New York, which will return in November, but it looks like the shows breakout star Cardi B, has landed a new gig.
Although we expect to see Cardi return to the new season. she has also landed her first major acting gig, courtesy of the folks over at BET on the upcoming season of ‘Being Mary Jane.’ According to reports:
TVLine has learned exclusively that Love & Hip Hop‘s Cardi B will appear in one episode as — wait for it — a reality star named Mercedes. Per the official character description, she’s a “round-the-way beauty with a big weave, big boobs and a big booty to match her oversized, ratchet personality.”
Major kudos to Cardi for using her platform to expand her brand! She is definitely getting that schmoney!!
