Marlo Hampton has been one of the most fiery friends of the show on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ for several years, but never received an official peach. Well now the fashionista is taking her talents elsewhere with her new reality show that will be produced by Kandi Burruss according to fresh reports.
Burruss is working on a new reality show called “Hotlanta.” The show will focus on cast members in Atlanta with story lines that are similar to the ones featured on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
There aren’t too many details about the project but a source said Marlo Hampton, who has made a name for herself on RHOA, will star on this new show.
The source said, “She’ll likely leave Housewives, especially since she’s never been an official cast member. Marlo will really get to shine.”
Sources said that Kandi will not appear on the show as a cast member or on camera in any capacity. Instead, she’ll executive produce and continue to hold the peach on RHOA.
The show is set to air on WeTV.
Weeks ago, Andy Cohen revealed that fans can expect to see some major changes taking place for season 11 of RHOA as far as casting, so we wonder if that has anything to do with the new show. Either way we’re in, are you?
