We told you about the altercation that took place this past Thursday during the taping of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore. Now multiple sources are speculating that Porsha twirling Kenya all over the stage just may have gotten the ‘Flatline’ singer an official pink slip.
Although sources have reported that the fight was not as “dramatic” as originally speculated Kenya reportedly told Bravo producers that if they did not fire Porsha due to her “attack” that she would leave the show. We don’t believe Kenya holds any rank to sway the producers, however apparently they are taking action to rectify the situation. TMZ is reporting:
It looks like Porsha Williams has sealed her fate on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” … because we’re told after her violent assault against Kenya Moore — her next gig will be the unemployment line.
Porsha was already on the chopping block because she’s supremely uninteresting, but sources connected with the show tell us … producers are now clear — she’s more trouble than she’s worth.
It sounds a little strange, because a lot of these shows live off of physical conflict. But after the blowout fight between Apollo Nida and Brandon DeShazer, Bravo execs instituted a zero-tolerance policy against violence. Put simply, they drew a line in the sand, and Porsha crossed it.
We pressed our sources and they say a decision from the mountaintop has not officially come down … but we’re getting this from all directions — it’s just a matter of time.
Although we don’t condone violence, we are a tad bit sad to hear that Porsha may be on her way out, especially since we are rooting for her to win and find her footing since divorcing her husband. We must say though we find it quite interesting that Bravo is using the “fight” excuse to dismiss Porsha but there was violence also on season 2 of ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ and those cast mates were not fired. However as stated, producers were already looking to let Porsha go, so she essentially just made it easier and convenient for them.
