Since Beyonce announced on Saturday, April 16 that she plans to release a new project titled ‘Lemonade’ exclusively to HBO on next Saturday, April 23, the countdown has been on.
Fans have speculated that the project could be everything from a visual album screening, to a music video, to a mini movie. On Sunday, she released an extended one minute trailer for the mysterious project but it still gave no real detail on what fans can expect.
Well now reports are claiming that the project will be a “lengthy concept video”. Via EW:
The “world premiere event” is set to air April 23 at 9 p.m. ET.
While fans need to wait five days until its debut and with speculation running high as to the content of Lemonade, EW has learned a few details about the project.
A source tells EW, “Beyoncé’s super top secret Lemonade is actually a lengthy concept video.”
The pop star’s HBO event comes just days before the launch of her world tour, which kicks off April 27 in Miami.
