Since being blindly demoted this season fans of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Williams, have expressed their frustration with the reality star being brought back in a “friend of housewives”capacity.
Many don’t understand the foolish choice to begin with as Porsha has clearly become the fan favorite, apparently has many ventures she is working on and businesses she is undertaking, has brought some of the funniest moments to the show, she is far more entertaining than quite a few of the ladies (but we won’t name names) and to be honest has provided a story line this season (and ever since she joined) for a few as well.
Early on Porsha took the news of demotion with grace and has continued to bring her fun energy weekly to the show, racking in as much camera time as a full time housewife and as she say’s “I’m just here to slay”. Now the ‘Go Naked’ creator is opening up on the chances of her returning as a full time HW again for next season, and says she thinks the chances are highly likely. Via her website she revealed:
“Even though I wasn’t a full-time housewife, I was very much very vocal this season, I was around and I was a part of every single storyline as you can see…I think I’m ready for that type of spotlight again, [s]o I would be looking forward to it. I would if that were the case.”
“I signed up for reality television three years ago, so why not follow it through…My supporters are amazing and they have really been warriors for getting me back on the show and wanting me to get a peach again…I really had to do some soul searching and see if it was the right thing for me and I feel like I’m in a good place right now.”
Porsha previously revealed she believes her demotion was due to her not exposing as much of her personal life (dating) as Bravo would have liked. We say even without that the fans want her to return and are interested in seeing her launch her businesses which include ‘Go Naked’ hair & lingerie lines, being a contributor to ‘OK! Magazine’, her ‘Dish Nation’ correspondent role and other endeavors.
