Shamari DeVoe of Blaque is celebrating the life of her mentor and friend, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes on what would have been her 50th birthday (May 27).

The former ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star took to Instagram on Thursday to share a vintage snap of Lisa, with an endearing message of love for the woman who discovered her and her group to celebrate her birthday.

Forever my angel. Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Mommy Martian, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Thank you for all that you were to me. You came into my life and left footprints on my heart forever. May you continue to rest peacefully. – Love, Mari 👼🏽 🙏🏽👁
