Shaunie O’ Neal and Evelyn Lozada have been receiving an extra dose of shade and backlash from ‘Basketball Wives‘ fans over this past season and the ongoing mean girl antics and alleged colorism against fan fave OG Chijindu and alleged racism and bullying of Cece Gutierrez.

Social media has been in an uproar over the past few episodes and the upcoming reunion, where OG was forced to film the reunion in a separate room from her castmates, due to her alleged “aggressive” behavior over the season–which reportedly has Evelyn and other castmates concerned for their safety.

Well in a rare move, Shaunie (who is the shows executive producer in addition to castmate) took to Instagram live days ago to address the backlash, reports that OG was fired, criticism that Evelyn isn’t held accountable for her aggressive behavior and altercations and more.

Shaunie urged viewers to not be “so invested” in the show and to just take it as “entertainment” and not get caught up in the drama. Get into it below.
