R&B singer Ashanti has been prepping for the release of her long delayed album ‘Braveheart’ and stopped by The Hot 97 Morning Show to promote the project and its newest single, the Rick Ross assisted ‘I Got It’. Host Ebro Darden never one to shy away from the real questions grilled Ashanti on a number of issues that everyone wants to know about.

The former Murder Inc artist opened up for the first time about her relationship with Nelly and why they broke up. Also on her departure from the INC and how she is cool with Ja Rule and spoke with him since his release from prison. She then goes on to say however that her relationship with Irv Gotti is quite different. She talks about how Irv continues to say in interviews that she was disloyal when in fact she says it was the complete opposite. She even details how at one point Irv angered at her dismissed her and told her to go record with Nelly since she was riding more for him than she was Murder Inc. Definitely her best interview to date, check out as she gets brave and spills the dirt below.
