It looks like Karrueche Tran is in a lot of hot water, but this drama has nothing to do with Chris Brown. On Monday, Tran served as a guest host on ‘106 & Park’ as the show did a recap of their competitor MTV’s Video Music Awards which aired on Sunday. During 106 there was a segment which counted down the top six things that Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy thought about during the VMA’s.
It was during this segment that Tran reading off the teleprompter said: “I really did wake up like this because my parents didn’t comb my hair… Sorry Blue! I love you!”
The remark instantly sent the Beyhive into attack mode and Karrueche’s Twitter was flooded with shade as Bey fans dragged her to no end. Feeling the sting, Karrueche took back to Twitter to apologize and let the world know that it wasn’t her that wrote the line, it was the BET producers.
Despite her apology, the damage was done and she continued to get bashed. However many are giving BET major flack for their setting Karrueche up and for even making the joke to begin with. Could BET be salty with Beyonce for not only attending the VMA’s but delivering probably one of her best live televised showings?
More than likely yes, if you remember Bey was invited to attend the BET Awards this past June but due to scheduling conflicts and touring she and Jay declined, and instead the show aired a pre-taped performance from her tour which many were upset about.
Looks like BET was not feeling Bey, hence the jab they took at her through poor Karrueche. However, by all accounts Bey will definitely have the last laugh, as high as BET ratings are for their award show, there’s nothing like having Queen Bey grace your event with her presence and we’re sure after this, Bey nor Jay will be making any trips to BET anytime soon.
