One of the most sought after “IT” models of the 90’s, Christy Turlington, returns in front of the lens for the Missoni Spring/Summer 2014 campaign. This year has seen a huge resurgence of supermodels (Cindy, Naomi, and Linda) grace catwalks and magazines. I hope this is the beginning of something major. Turlington reigned in an era where models evoked such a cool sophistication that they were sought after like celebrities. Seeing a known face front a major brand says a lot about the star wattage that these supermodels still have even more than a decade later.
