After being released from her deal with Pharrell’s Star Trak/Interscope label in 2012 and joining Kanye West‘ Good Music label, Teyana Taylor is finally ready to drop her debut album. The singer took to Twitter to announce the title of the album and release date sharing “Don’t Sleep. #VII #Oct.21 #ItsTime.”
Teyana recently shot the visual for the first single off the album, “Maybe” featuring Pusha T and Yo Gotti which is set to drop August 18th. She is gearing up to release “Do Not Disturb” as the follow-up single.
This will be Teyana’s first official project since her 2006 single ‘Google Me’ and album ‘From a Planet Called Harlem’ was never released, following that she released a 2012 mixtape titled ‘The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor’.
