Team Empire doesn’t have that much longer to wait until the hit show returns to FOX for its highly anticipated second season. Ahead of its September 23 return, the network unveiled the first teaser trailer for the new season on Wednesday (July 22).
Season two will boast more episodes than last season (18 to season one’s 12) and features guest appearances by Kelly Rowland as Lucious’ mom in a flashback, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Magic Mike‘s Adam Rodriguez as Cookie’s new love interest and a slew of other reported A list stars.
