We told you last month that Essence was set to honor several women including Niecy Nash, Melina Matsoukas, Lashana Lynch and the women of ‘Pose’ including Janet Mock, Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Angelica Ross and Hailie Sahar at their annual Black Women In Hollywood Awards.

Well, Thursday night (Feb. 6) the event went down, and all of the ladies showed up and showed out.

In addition to the honorees, attendees included ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kandi Burruss, Eva Marcille, Cynthia Bailey, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ newest addition Garcelle Beauvais, Issa Rae, Billy Porter, Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Janelle Monae and many more.

Get into the snaps and footage below.
