It looks like Tionne ‘T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas are finally ready to release that long awaited new TLC album, and apparently it will be some of the best music of their career.
It’s been 14 years since their last album, 3D in November 2002 the same year that Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in a horrible car accident. Fast forward to 2015, the ladies announced that they were ready to get back to work on new music but needed help from the fans, so they created a Kickstarter to fund the creation of the album, and ultimately raised over 150,000 beating their initial goal.
Well since then fans have been waiting tirelessly, while the ladies have been touring, doing spot dates, and hitting the studio. Well now almost a year since receiving the funding for the LP, their team is now revealing that it will be coming quite soon.
According to reports, TLC’s manager, Bill Diggins, posted an update on the TLC Army Facebook page letting everyone know that TLC has 15 songs ready to share SOON! Also, a few weeks back T-Boz’s manager Brian commented on Facebook saying that “The new music is incredible!”
