Following massive demand for their blockbuster co-headlining The R&B Tour, the two R&B superstars have announced eight additional stadium dates, bringing the tour to a whopping 59 shows across North America.
The newly announced dates include first-time stops in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbia, South Carolina, and Indianapolis, along with additional shows in several cities where demand has already been high.
The eight newly added dates are:
- Oct. 15 — East Rutherford, NJ — MetLife Stadium
- Oct. 17 — Baltimore, MD — M&T Bank Stadium
- Oct. 24 — Cincinnati, OH — Paycor Stadium
- Oct. 29 — Columbia, SC — Williams-Brice Stadium
- Oct. 31 — Indianapolis, IN — Lucas Oil Stadium
- Nov. 5 — Atlanta, GA — Mercedes-Benz Stadium
- Nov. 16 — Los Angeles, CA — SoFi Stadium
- Dec. 6 — Miami, FL — Hard Rock Stadium
The latest additions are especially big for the DMV, as the Baltimore show gives local fans another chance to catch the tour after Usher and Breezy already brought the show to Northwest Stadium earlier this summer.
And calling the tour successful might be an understatement. According to Pollstar, the first 20 reported shows across 12 cities generated more than $153 million from over 863,000 tickets sold, averaging nearly 72,000 fans per show.
The R&B Tour kicked off June 26 in Denver and features Usher and Chris Brown trading the spotlight throughout a massive stadium production celebrating their individual catalogs, collaborations, choreography and the legacy of R&B.
The tour continues through December 12 in Tampa, Florida, with stops still ahead in Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Miami and more.
Presales for the newly announced shows begin this week, with the general public on-sale set for Monday, August 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
With 59 dates and counting, Usher and Chris Brown are making a pretty strong case that R&B can still pack stadiums.
