Although the season finale of ‘The Voice’ just aired yesterday, NBC is gearing up for its season 6 return in early 2014, and it look as though Usher and Shakira are both set to return.
Fans will remember Shakira and Usher joined the panel in season 4 when Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo took some time off of the show to focus on their respective albums and touring, but both returned for season 6 which just wrapped. Apparently NBC will now be alternating between the two sets of judges each season with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine remaining on the panel for both
For fans wondering where Usher’s new music is, don’t fret as the R&B heavyweight is also in the studio working on his forthcoming 8th studio album which is set to arrive in 2014 as well, and is also wrapping up a film ‘Hands of Stone’ where he plays the role of Sugar Ray Leonard.
The new season premieres Monday, February 24 at 8 pm, NBC but you can check out the promo spot below.
