We told you on Friday that Chris Brown was kicked out of the rehab facility in Malibu he was court ordered to attend and was immediately taken to jail and remained there through the weekend. The reason for his discharge from the program was unclear but it was speculated that Chris would not adhere to the facilities rules regarding staying away from females in the facility. It was also previously reported that he had an inappropriate relationship with one of the female staff members but that situation reportedly had been resolved internally.
Brown appeared in court Monday alongside his attorney Mark Geragos who requested that the judge release Brown, however that request was immediately denied. Chris was ordered to remain in jail as the judge said Chris had an âinability to stay out of troubleâ and was especially troubled at a statement he made at rehab, where he reportedly said, âI am good at using guns and knives.â
Chris will remain in jail until the D.C. jury decides if he committed criminal assault in his D.C. case, which goes to trial on April 17.
The L.A. judge will hold a probation violation hearing on April 23. If Chris is convicted in D.C., he could potentially be sentenced to four years in prison for violating probation in the Rihanna case.
