It is official, Janet Jackson will be appearing at the 2015 BET Awards this coming Sunday June 28, 2015. We reported just this weekend that the network was set to honor the pop icon with a special tribute that is slated to involve Ciara and others allegedly. The tribute/performance was not confirmed by BET…that is until now.
Monday evening, a new promo spot for Sunday’s big show aired starring this years hosts Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson where some of the A list talent that is set to appear was announced. In the promo spot Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Brandy and more are all set to appear, and BET casually slipped in that Janet will also grace the show and its millions of viewers with her presence. We’ve got the exclusive footage of the announcement below.
