Fans of the 90’s show ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ were uber excited when it was announced that the hit series was greenlit for a new 2016 film based on the teenage superhero fighting force.
Well now ahead of the official movie release comes a short film reboot of the the Power Rangers courtesy of Joseph Kahn and starring James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff. According to Kahn, the short film titled “POWER/RANGERS” has no affiliation to the actual feature film that is coming to theaters from Lionsgate, this is more of a fan fantasy come true. While we anxiously await the real trailers from the official movie, this sure did get us hype and excited that the real thing boost as much blood, drama and “kill bill” style action as this fan trailer.
