Although the album went under the radar to many, it was a solid project and now on the eve (no pun intended) of the release of her new film Barbershop: The Next Cut, the rapper is revealing that she has been inspired to return to music so fans should expect a new album soon.

The rapper turned actress sat down with Rap Up, alongside Regina Hall to promote the new film which hits theaters on April 15, and chatted on why she hasn’t been as consistent with releasing new music, and reveals that filming the movie has inspired her to get back to music.
