Ja Rule recently revealed during an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’ that he was in talks for a new reality show tentatively titled ‘Follow The Rules’ and today it was officially confirmed that the series will debut on MTV.
“Ja Rule is the modern day reality rap star version of Bill Cosby’s role from ‘The Cosby Show.’ He embraces a unique parenting style with his teenage kids that feels fresh and funny,” said Susanne Daniels, President of MTV Programming. “We’re excited to be in business with him and his delightful family.”
“I am truly honored and excited to be partnering with MTV and 51 Minds to bring you my new show ‘Follow the Rules,’” said Rule. “Family tradition will never be the same b*tch… Lmao!!!”
he show will document the hectic household of the rapper/actor and his wife Aisha which includes his two teenage sons, their college-age daughter, and Ja’s mother and mother-in-law
