Lifetime has just unveiled an extended trailer of their upcoming ‘Aaliyah: Princess of R&B’ movie which airs on November 15 at 8/7C. Alexandra Shipp recently opened up about taking on the coveted role of Aaliyah in the Wendy Williams executive produced film.
“It was scary, but I knew that I had to do it,” Shipp told Kevin Frazier of “Entertainment Tonight.” “I don’t know, something in me was like you have to do this, you’re going to love this experience more than anything.”
