Mariah Carey took to the stage on Thursday (April 21) evening during her Paris show, just hours after finding out that her good friend Prince had passed away. During her performance, the singer got emotional and according to reports broke down multiple times throughout the night.
Paying her respects, the singer requested a moment’s silence, saying: âRather than just make everyone bleak we should just take him and honour him because he was a friend to me too.”
âHe talked me through some times when I really, really needed somebody and he was incredible person if you never did get to meet him” she continued.
