Nene Leakes cleared a few things up about her departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta when she was caught at LAX airport on Wednesday July 1 by TMZ cameras. Nene says that money was NOT the issue as to why she left and if it were she would have returned, insinuating that the money she was offered was to her satisfaction.
When quizzed on whether she thinks the show can make it without her, she says she isn’t sure but she thinks there will be a different tone without her. Although she has stated that she plans to pop in once in a while with the girls and Bravo has said they would love to have Nene back in a PT capacity, she revealed that her “return” won’t happen anytime soon. Leakes says she has no plans to return for the upcoming eighth season so if you are expecting to see her DON’T.
