One of our favorite movie franchises ‘Scream‘ is now becoming a TV series thanks to the folks at MTV and Dimension TV. After making the announcement months ago now we get a first look at the upcoming series.
The television adaptation of the popular movie franchise, has a similar premise to the movie however will not feature the iconic ghostface as the killer, and it appears none of the film’s characters appear, at least not in the promos.
According to reports the show kicks off when a YouTube video goes viral, and soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past. Scream the TV series is set to premiere of June 30 on MTV. Check out the promo trailers below.
