It’s been about 20 years since Hip Hop performer Sole debuted on the scene when she burst out on the JT Money hit ‘Who Dat‘ and later released her own series of singles including ‘4,5,6’ and ‘It Wasn’t Me’ from her debut solo album ‘Skin Deep’ in 1999.
If you follow Sole on Instagram, you know that she was married to Ginuwine, but later divorced and recently remarried long time friend and Hip Hop artist, Professor Griff and resides in the DMV area living her best life.
Sole took a break from music to focus on motherhood, a lifestyle centered in Yoga, black belt martial arts, sacred dance and being an herbalista Goddess.
Well now, Sole has returned to stage for her first performance in 18 years as she appeared on the ‘Return of The Gods of Hip Hop‘ concert in San Diego on Saturday, August 11. Sole was joined by fellow female MC, Rah Digga and more. Sole has teased a slow return to music and has some new “goddess” music on the way for fans.
