Tinashe closed out the last chapter of her “Aquarius” album this week when she released the cinematic clip “Bet/Feels Like Vegas” as a short film video and also announced the title of her upcoming sophomore album “Joyride” due this November.
In an interview with Billboard, she reveals that she has 30 tracks recorded for the project that she has to choose from. Sheâs worked with the likes of Dr. Luke and Max Martinâsheâs aiming for the top of the charts and says this album will be less urban in comparison to her debut.
The new tracks include the Martin-produced âPlayer,â ratchet âJoyrideâ (produced by Hit-Boy and Travi$ Scott), and the Boi-1da-helmed âParty Favors,â while other contributors include Nic Nac and Dev Hynes.
âI donât see myself as an urban niche act,â said Tinashe. âI want to have mainstream success that doesnât feel forced or label-made.â
