As we previously told you and you have seen a million times by now, Kanye West slammed Beck and The Grammy’s for giving him the award for ‘AOTY’ over Beyonce on Sunday’s show.

He told Terrence J and panel during the E! after show that the singer-songwriter should “respect artistry” and give his award to Beyoncé. In response, Whoopi Goldberg had some strong words for the rapper during Monday’s episode of ‘The View’

“As an artist, Kanye, you know what it’s like when somebody questions your artistry,” Goldberg said. “Now, I don’t know if you listened to Beck’s album, but it was pretty damn good. And Beyoncé collecting three Grammys [in other categories] and I think it’s kind of rough to say ‘real artists’ like he’s not a real artist.”

“Everybody on that stage was a real artist, honey,” she added.

Following his rant on Sunday, Kanye was confronted by TMZ cameras and other news outlets and he attempted to clarify his statements saying he was not suggesting Beck wasn’t a “real artist” but was suggesting that “real artists” might boycott the Grammys
