They say when one door closes, another opens! and that saying is proving to be true for the former cast of the recently cancelled series ‘Star.’
Following the announcement that Ryan Destiny, who played Alexandra Crane on the Fox drama, had snagged a new role for season 3 of ‘grown-ish’ on Freeform, now another actress from the Lee Daniels helmed series is moving on to greener pastures.
DMV native and actress Ashton Grooms, who joined ‘Star‘ in it’s last season in the role of Dior before the show was axed, has now snagged a recurring role on the hit LGBTQ/Ballroom series ‘Pose’ on FX.
The announcement came just days ago via her agency who shared the news.
Ashton joins the series which has made history as the show with the largest LGBTQ cast on television. Major kudos and congrats to Ashton!
