Wendy Williams returned to TV this week after a three week hiatus where she was resting up and getting treated after revealing her ongoing battle with Graves’ disease and thyroid disease.
Upon her return, Wendy seemed back to herself and not as “off” as she had been in the weeks/months before announcing her sudden break. Well during their news recap this week, ‘The Breakfast Club‘ dished on Wendy’s return, and her former right hand man, Charlamagne Tha God had some interesting thoughts on her recent health issues.
“Glad you got a handle on your health, and please let the record show everybody is watching you closely now. So if you slip up again, people are gonna know it’s not your health. OK?”
“What, you don’t think she has Graves’ disease?” co-host Angela Yee asks.
“Just saying people are watching her closely now,” he responds. “So if she slips up again, people will know it’s not her health,” later adding, “I’m just saying hypothetically, it could be drugs.”
Charlamagne also responded to someone who criticized him for his insinuation, and he stood by his statement.
