Fans of Sevyn Streeter have been waiting for what seems like a lifetime for her debut solo album, and finally after a handful of mixtapes/EPs, her full length project ‘Girl Disrupted‘ arrived last Friday.
From her days in the tiny bopping TG4, to sultry sex sirens in Richgirl, to her solo career, fans of Sevyn have followed and waited patiently, but it looks like despite the long drumroll (which may have been too long), Sevyn’s album did not fair too well on the Billboard charts.
According to reports, the set will land on the Billboard 200 with only 4,351 units sold, landing her in the #31 spot. Yikes!
Meanwhile, Sevyn stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club‘ on Monday morning in a bid to keep the promo for the album going. As we know, it’s not always how you start, but how you finish. Here’s to hoping Sevyn can continue to push the album to higher heights, or at least set herself up for a great comeback with her next project.
