Brandy‘s new single “Beggin & Pleadin” has gone viral literally overnight and put her back on the radar for her music this week, but there hasn’t been much buzz about the one thing that sparked the song in the first place..her new show.
“Zoe Ever After” debuted on BET on Tuesday night and received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. The series is her first show which she plays the lead character since her hit series “Moesha” which ended over 15 years ago.
Well now according to preliminary reports, the romantic comedy series may just be winner for BET after all, as the numbers are in and they are damn good for a debut series. On its debut night, the series clocked in at almost a million viewers with a very note worthy 851, 000 viewers (not including DVR playback and online streams which would add to that total).
Congrats to Bran and BET for hitting it out the ballpark with the opening night.
