On April 1, I made a post regarding my fave rapper, Lil Kim and what was supposed to be a scheduled appearance at DC’s 2016 Gay Pride events hosted by longtime DC promoter Daryl Wilson. The multi-day events were slated to be co-headlined by the Queen Bee as well as rappers Remy Ma and Foxy Brown, on separate nights respectively.
Reportedly upon finding out that Foxy would also be on the bill, Kim took to social media just before the weekend to address my post, which she alleged was “so fake”. However, Daryl Wilson has been promoting this event for quite some time and according to him, Kim and/or her team not only confirmed that she would appear, she also signed a contract and approved the flyers.
For those who are still asking this is SO FAKE someone made this up. I will definitely NOT be doing this. pic.twitter.com/ZpCfHpZH1p

Despite allegedly already having a signed contract, Kim took to social media blasting the accusations, denying that she would appear at the event and other blog sites including the Shade Room began sharing her response to the viral post (which has since been deleted).
Well over the past few days, behind the scenes Daryl Wilson was attempting to work with Kim’s team to square everything away, but now the promoter says Kim has broken her contract and backed out of the deal.
