As you know, Tami Roman was completely done with ‘Basetkball Wives‘ after last season, and had left the show. That was until producers came back and made Tami an offer she couldn’t refuse, that came with a few more bucks, and her own spin off series.
Fans saw Tami return for the current season of BBW’s which started a couple weeks ago, and she clearly is determined to stay away from the drama. She has been focused on her flourishing acting career, Bonnet Chronicles series on Tidal, and upcoming wedding. Now we have details on her planned spin off that will document those details and more.
According to The Jasmine Brand:
Tami’s new show will be called, Beverly Trill Billies. The title and premise of the show is a play off of the 1962 sitcom, The Beverly Hill Billies. The show centered around a poor backwoods family who move to posh Beverly Hills, California, after striking oil on their land.
We’re told her new show will highlight her relationship with boyfriend Reggie Youngblood and his entertaining family that lives down south. The show will also feature Tami’s family.
Sources tell us that filming will begin this summer.
The Mona Scott-Young produced show is created by the reality star and Ernest Dukes. It will air on VH1.
Meanwhile, back to BBW’s drama, after years of attempting to play nice, Tami’s long time feud-sometimes “cordial-ship” with Evelyn Lozada is completely out the window this season.
Off screen Tami has not been here for the mess either and doesn’t really engage with promoting the show, or talking about it weekly via Twitter or IG as her cast mates do.
Tami has continued to ignore the jabs while promoting only her brand.
We detect that Tami will be going off this reunion (or sooner) if Evelyn keeps it up.
