In a move that has us all scratching our heads, ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ newbie Claudia Jordan has revealed that she doesn’t want fan fave Porsha Williams to return for season 8 of the show and you will never believe why.
In a new interview with OK! Magazine Claudia discussed the upcoming reunion and revealed that she would return to the show for season 8 if asked back but without hesitation when asked who should be fired, she revealed Porsha.
“Porsha definitely. I think she’s like cute and glamorous and that’s great but like we need more than that… like show your day life, show your businesses…show that kind of stuff….I don’t think it’s enough to be on the show just co-signing whatever NeNe says. That’s not a good character on a reality show. I think that’s kind of boring.”
Her statement is quite ironic considering just moments before she revealed that she was proud at the progress the girls made by the end of this season following their therapy session, including she and Porsha.
The second obvious and ironic thing about her statement is that she is suggesting that Porsha has no storyline, meanwhile this has been the biggest gripe from viewers regarding Claudia this season. Longtime fans although they enjoyed the one time sparing match between Claudia and Nene, she has failed to deliver any real story line or validity for her being crowned a peach this season.
Lastly, most of Claudia’s press interviews since joining the show have revolved around her discussing her other cast mates mainly Porsha and Nene, much like her scenes on the show. So it would appear as though she would want Porsha to stay so that she herself will have something to talk about next season (if she is asked back herself).
