Keyshia Cole appeared on the Season 5 premiere of TV One‘s ‘Uncensored‘ that aired this past Sunday and got candid about various things including her divorce from Boobie Gibson, the death of her mother, Frankie Lons, and much more.
While the entire episode was a good watch, it was a brief moment where the singer dished on a shocking incident that occurred that she says may have caused her friendship with Eve to end.
During a night out, Keyshia says that a woman (who was seemingly a fan) approached them and grabbed Eve’s purse. Keyshia felt the need to defend her friend, Eve and slapped the woman.

Keyshia revealed that that experience was a learning lesson and one that she regrets. She also says she understands why Eve felt the need to distance herself. “I should have left that to security. Somebody gets paid for that, you know what I mean?… It took a long time [for me] to learn to not put my hands on people.”
